Shipping Information
We ship worldwide (excluding some Asian and remote regions) with two convenient options:
Standard Shipping
- Carrier: DHL or FedEx
- Shipping cost: $12.95
- Delivery time: 10-15 days after shipping
Free Shipping
- Carrier: EMS
- Available for orders over $50
- Delivery time: 15-25 days after shipping
Note: All orders are processed within 1-2 business days before shipping.
Our Hassle-Free Returns Policy
We want you to be as stoked about your gear as you are about catching waves. If something isn’t right, here’s how we’ve got your back:
Return Basics
- Return window: 15 days from receiving your order
- Items must be in original condition with tags attached and unused
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or was incorrect
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns on:
- Surfboard Fins (once installed)
- Surfboard Traction pads (once removed from packaging)
- Surfboard Leashes that show signs of use
- Any items marked as final sale
How to Return or Exchange
Making a return is as easy as paddling out on a calm day:
- Contact Us within 15 days at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
- Wait for Approval – Our crew will review your request and send return instructions within 2 business days
- Package It Up – Securely pack your items in the original packaging if possible
- Ship It Back – Send to our headquarters: Dakine Shop Returns

Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Refunds processed within 5-7 business days
- Issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Shipping fees are non-refundable (except for damaged/incorrect items)
Exchange Process
Want to swap for a different size or color? No problem!
- Follow the standard return process above
- Include a note specifying what you’d like instead
- We’ll ship your replacement as soon as we process the return
- Exchange shipping times follow our standard delivery estimates
Damaged or Defective Items
If your Carver Surfskate, Hamboard, or other gear arrives damaged:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Include photos of the damage and packaging
- We’ll arrange a free return and expedite your replacement

International Returns
For our global riders (excluding some Asian and remote regions):
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- Customs fees are non-refundable
- Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges
